Map Description

Alright, I've been through 6 or 7 versions of this, and it's 99.7% completed, just gonna need to move one or two blocks and swap a couple pickup locations. Maybe place a rock chunk somewhere. Otherwise, it's done.

    Weapons:

    -2 ExtendedMag Magnum
    -2 Projection SMG (1 clip)
    -1 Gunfighter Magnum (1 clip)
-1 Sorrow of Teash Brute Plasma Rifle (50% energy)
-1 Fury Storm Rifle (50% energy)
    2 frag
    2 plasma
    2 splinter
    -Damage Boost Level 1
    -UNSC Ammo Crate

    Art:

Originally conceived as a 2v2, built to scale of a 4v4, and apparently functional as something in between, this has been gestating for about a month now, and I'm very proud of how it's turned out. The name reflects its origins as a concept drawing based on elements from a 4v4/8v8 blockout I did (Sketch on my Waypoint), and it just got crazier from there. I took a lot of inspiration from Doom's art direction and gameplay (especially since it went on sale), as well as some old Bungie stuff (see if you can find the Marathon emblem), but had to flatten that all out because Halo 5 is, well, Halo 5.

    Gameplay:

Teams spawn on opposite ends, facing a damage boost in the center, suspended over a deathpit. You must be willing to look where you think enemies are going to come from, rather than merely look in the direction you are moving. Sprinting is dangerous but useful for jumps, strafing is an offensive defense, and only a problem the higher you go.
Essentially, the higher you are on the map, the faster and more direct you need to move in order to survive (hence why the map is not 100% complete), and on the ground you've gotta be watching the top areas while strafing to your destination. Picking up power weapons requires careful timing and commitment. Or at least that's the concept.

I might add Oddball and Ricochet support sometime in the future. We'll see.

    7/5,
It's pretty good, but there are plenty of awful death holes that come out of nowhere.

TBH, this is one of those maps that is both interesting and beautiful. The combination of forge pieces utilized in this map often leaves me in awe.

Thanks m8! Honestly the lighting is the most important, otherwise it's a bit of a hodgepodge lol
