Sinkhole is my mutated freak of a highly vertical infection map with tons of vertical overlap which plays for Outlast gametype and also supports Hivemind, and Cadre. My goal with this map was to create a highly replayable, and highly explorable map that can use a large amount of Halo’s sandbox and give players many options to get very creative in their tactics. The idea of the map is a city in ruins that has been sinking into the ground, a Sinkhole if you will. I kinda imagined this idea of a towering sort of building that player could go into at the bottom. Then climb up a bunch of levels in the building and then up still being at ground level. The map supports random weapon positions where players can explore and find weapons in different places each round. Don’t worry though as the scripting is set up so that these random weapon sets make it so that there are always the same set of weapons on the map regardless of the randomization, they are just in different locations.
