A very aesthetically pleasing map with solid gameplay. Not a fan of the Binary Rifle for the main power weapon and that is my only reason it's not a perfect 5.
After playing the map multiple time on multiple gametypes I feel I am ready to share my unpopular opinion.
While the map as a whole is solid, I think the design is underwhelming and brings very little in unique gameplay.
I'm not trying to discredit your work of art, demption. You really are one of the best when it comes to consistently beautiful aethetics, but I believe that design is the majority of what makes maps great, bad, or in this case average.
I have yet to see a map, that gives a "New" meaning. The map is New, Beautiful, and a new environment to play on. I have yet to play on the map, to see the flow of how it feels, but watching some vids of the map. I can already see that its a map that is needed for H5. Great Job, Kudos to You.
This map is great. The gameplay flow is exciting and moves about the map, and it's easy to know where you are at any time. The aesthetic polish is outstanding. I love playing on this map.
Visually one of the most impressive maps I've seen for any gametype, It flowed great and I don't think I ever got a bad spawn. I'd love to see a larger map with this Aesthetic but I'm gonna guess this map is probably pretty close to the budget with those domes O.O
Very rarely have I given a 10... especially for an original map. You, sir, get a 10. I was hesitant to download this...but I am happy I did. This is one of the best original maps I've seen, and being that it's not even necessarily a "Halo" themed map, it feel like it should be. The forging is clean and controlled, and the layout is brilliant. It's simple, yet clearly well thought out and you have inspired me to actually start to draw out my concepts on paper before I start to forge, as that clearly proves to payoff in a design like this. The atmosphere treatment is also highly complimentary to the mood of the map. I actually didn't realize you had the "warm" filter on, and when I changed it just to play around with it in forge, I realized that the warm filter was exactly what the map needed. Personally, the only with I would have done differently with that is just tone down the fog thickness a bit so that mountains in the background don't appear undefined... but that might have been what you were going for. Please add neutral CTF!!! Bravo and keep the maps coming!!
