Really great space ship aesthetics, I wish the same level of time and care went into the design of the map. The terrain is all flat and the spaces are broken up with crates which just seems too easy for me to appreciate as a designer. I know the map containment from CoD but Im not sure if the same gameplay principals apply to Halo. If this is a first project of yours then I think there are some things to be proud of, you have an overall theme and story for the map. I just don't think those elements are going to be as apparent as the inner areas of the map. I would adjust your focus to the core gameplay on your next project.

 

I agree with what Warholic said. I think with a little adjustment you could get a nice simple Warlock style arena map out of this, accompanied with the amazing job you did on the space ship.

This is really cool, even if it is a remake of a CoD's simplest map. Hopefully you can bring this level of imagination and creativity to your future (and possibly original) projects.

 

While the map maybe overly simplistic in terms of design I've always thought some people put too much effort into making their maps complicated when in reality some of the best maps are the simplest ones and your map reminded me of that. plus the map just looks plain cool anyway you look at it so i like it
