    LORE: This small island was found by early human settlers before the flood and even before the forerunners fired the Halo rings. UNSC researchers believe this was a storage facility for all of the unexplained phenomena they found traversing the early universe. Unfortunately something terrible happened in this place, it left only bodies and alien tech remaining. Most of the facility is in 'shambles' (I see what he did there!) but at least the holding cells remain sealed...

    Shambles is an asymmetrical 4v4 Arena focused map that is great for Slayer, Strongholds, and Oddball. It will cater greatly to 1 flag and 1 bomb game types when we get them!

    I have been testing this map with the ATN network for the last month since the Tidal canvas came out. I used to have a lot of scripted doors and paths but they didn't play too well in competitive tests so I simplified the map. changed some textures, skybox, and color palette. Now I am ready to release it to the wild!

    I was inspired by the idea of beach assault map like Zanzibar/Last Resort without being a remaster or remake. This is an original. I found those maps had a problem with excess vehicles, way too much open floor space for a hitscan game, and they were simply too large for competitive 4v4 play. Basically I tried to remedy all those things with 'Shambles'.

    There are a couple destructible scripted paths which are simply opened by blowing up the exploding barrels around the map. There is also a little TNT handle easter egg that works.
