8v8 Slayer

Map Description

    My new Halo 5 forge BTB Map “SECURITRON”

    This is a BTB map designed for slayer, CTF, and Strongholds.


    Lots of weapons and vehicles to use. I have not tested this map at all, so I am not sure how the well this plays, especially with all the vehicles in it.


    This is a symmetrical map with once side being red and the other blue.


    Each team has a two bases that both face opposite of each other. Each base houses tons of weapons and vehicles. There are sniper posts on both sides and two hydras to help combat vehicles.


    The middle of the map is a neutral zone housing a rocket launcher on the lower level and a Spartan laser in the top part.


    Currently I have a banshee spawning at blue base and a wasp at red. Other than that each team has the same vehicles consisting of warthogs (one with a turret), mantis, and ghost.


    I didn’t really have a theme in mind when making this map, I just wanted to make a BTB map for 6v6 or 8v8 that looked more industrial, maybe it’s Spartan training ground out in the middle of nowhere or something,..

    The layout looks really cool and I like the flow it has but the map needs a lot of work., I mean one section literally has the default colors set by forge. I mean come one you can do better than this, some textures and a theme would make it come to life.

    Recoloring it would go a long way. You could make some buildings gray, chief green, black, brown, or even white.

    What is your favorite UNSC map in the series? You could mimic its colors.

    Thanks for the feedback! Yeah initially I was going for some sort of generic training ground look that was all gold-metal or something, but I started messing around with colors and textures on it last night and noticed it was looking better, some dark greys, blacks, weird blue colors, etc. Will continue working on that and update. For some reason I am not to fond of the grav-lift bases either...they just seem like they are missing something or need to be restructures, so working on that as well...they just seem to generic.
