After devouring sanctuary the horde set the sights on new targets to feast upon. The defenders of this safe house knew the horde was coming and so they took their time preparing for the onslaught that is to come. As the defenders you must band together through combined arms and hose the aggressors down with hot lead.

Defenders strategy:
Room 1: The gate
The night is here with the usual signs that the horde is near. You must lock down two pathways the horde will use to overrun you. Do not allow the horde to push you back to the gate or you will be flanked and overrun.
Room 2: The lobby
In order to successfully hold the lobby, the team must maintain an orderly retreat from the gate. Frantically trying to reach the next room and forgetting about your fellow man will result in the entire team being easy prey for the horde.
Room 3: The divide
Only the strong are able to hold the horde off at the entrance. For those that are not strong enough to hold the entrance will be divided and separated from one another in two corridors. Making the easy prey for the horde
Room 4: Last stand
At this stage the divide reaches a cross section you are reunited with those you have been separated from whether they have fallen or not. Now together with your backs to one another you must buy yourself time and hold off the overwhelming force.
Room 5: Conclusion
You have made it to the final room, all you can do now is hold out until doors close, sealing you away from the hordes hunger.
Horde strategy
As part of the horde its tactics includes clashes head first into the opposition with overwhelming numbers wearing them down with attrition.
To make such a strategy work the infected re-spawn timer has been set to zero. Aggressive spawning has also been placed near the defenders safe house allowing you to charge in and be a constant presence in the match. Teleporters will begin to appear at your spawn to take you deeper into the base so you can have the same effective spawning like in the beginning. Alpha infected start out with no sprint but have higher movement speed, stronger shields and two thruster pack boost. While those who have fallen to the horde will be given weaker shields, but can regenerate more frequently than the alphas. Most importantly regular horde members have sprint allowing them to close the distance faster. Through attrition the enemy becomes weak, through weakness their flesh becomes tender and will make excellent meals for the horde.
