Map Description

  1. KingNothing2005
    Safehaven is a remake of Haven from Halo 4. The scaling is a touch smaller and a few minor changes have been made due to the scale. The map is playable with Team Slayer, FFA, Strongholds and SWAT. Locations are named and spawning is very close to the original. Teams include Red and Blue as of this point. Forged to inspire and bring back the memories of this wonderful map. Hope you all enjoy!

    I visited your map and... you really should work all the structure... Even if we can't see some part, it's obvious that's just blocks together. Create a Forunner structure and add more details inside the structure. A simple example : the circular hallway, you could add shield generator on the wall. It's a little pillar with white lines, it could be really cool and add some details.

    For the rest, I let you work.

    Good start, but you need to polish it with details.

    Thanks I guess. I tried my hardest to put this out, it didn't really turn out how I had hoped but with a light budget at 140% I don't really see room for an overhaul of the entire map. But, maybe I'll recruit some help from a better forger and see if I can't polish it up. All for the community right? Might as well give er my best shot.

    I'll modify another map later today, maybe I'll go in Forge after to add some little things in your map and send it here to help you (if it's a good addition you'll be free to continue to forge from my version).

    This actually doesn't look to bad at all. You could turn off light bake for any floor objects and walls that don't need to cast a global shadow and it will help a ton for your light budget and map.

    Edit : Leave the floors a default texture with a gloss of like 4 or 5 and add the forerunner texture to the vertical walls and a bit of gloss variation in areas to give it a bit of life to the map.

    I like what you have to say fame28! I will definitely get in there and see what I can do to lower lightning budget and see what textures look best. :)
