Gametype: Rocket Dodgers (King of the Hill)
Map: Blast Lanes and Blast Lanes XL
2-6 or 7-12 Players.
Rocket Dodgers is a minigame I created back when Reach was added to MCC but never posted on here. It makes use of the new projectile teleporting feature.
Each player spawns in (a different) one of the six lanes (12 in Blast Lanes XL) The players cannot move; only jump, crouch, and jetpack. In front of the players they will see a series of teleporter senders (with numerals above them) and receivers. Shooting into the sender will send it into its corresponding lane and launch it at whichever player is in that lane.
Players will need to jump, duck, and jetpack to dodge the incoming rockets while simultaneously trying to shoot at the lanes they have opponents in. Last Man Standing wins.
Shooting higher/lower into the teleporter will dictate the height in which it will come out towards your enemies.
If you are playing with 3 or more players then you will respawn on the spectating platform when eliminated. Even though you are technically a spectator you can still participate! Want revenge on whoever killed you? Want to gang up on one player you all hate? Shoot into their lane to make it harder for them to be Last Man Standing!
Issues:
If the final two players are killed at the same time before one can capture the hill, you will have to wait for the round timer to run down.
Blast Lanes: 2-6 Players
Blast Lanes XL: 7-12 Players
