Rift.... Is a midsized forerunner facility that features an asymmetrical layout with 3 buildings for indoor combat along with a lot of natural paths and areas with pounds to discover weapons and power ups. This map also features a natural overgrown crater that's surrounds the map that formed over a 1000 years ago. This map was designed for a 2v2 but a 4v4 will work fine, just might, be a little fast paced since the map size is almost equivalent to beaver creek from Halo Combat Evolved but just a little bit bigger. The map is currently set up for Slayer and Capture The Flag. Also, this map will have some minor updates along the way. Other than that, Enjoy!
►Map information/Details
the map's main power weapon is a rocket launcher which is located in the center structure on the map. This map also features an over shield which is located across from the rocket in the pound. Both of these can be accessed very quickly from each side since it is the same distance for both teams. Plus there are plenty of weapons on the map to choose from so both sides will have no problem finding weapons to use. These weapons are listed below. Also, there will be more game types available soon with version 2.0 when it gets released sometime in the future.

Update 2.0
In this first update to Rift the map has been tweaked a little bit and has been updated with some new forge items from Ghosts of Meridian. Also, there has been a new path added under the center structure containing a set of splinter grenades. Now this map has been play tested multiple times and a 2v2 slayer was voted the best game type for this map. But a 4v4 CTF was also voted to be the best game type for a 4 on 4. So with that said I hope you guys enjoy! Stay tuned for more updates in the future.

5-18-16 Update 4.0
Rift 4.0 is here and better than ever before! The map has been updated greatly with new lines of sights and sight blockers to make the map flow better and play better. There has been a lot of new changes to the center building for new ways in and new ways out along with a new divider to block out the opponents base from the other side. Also the map has new rocks to block out open sight lines around the map for better cover and for more interesting game play. There are also new Easter eggs around the map from the new update ''Memories of Reach''.
With all these changes the map is more capable of holding a 4v4 Slayer and CTF although the map is still designed for a 2v2. Hope you enjoy the new changes and have fun!

7-6-16 Update 5.0
Rift 5.0 features new natural terrain around the map with a brand new water fall in the middle of red Yard. This update really focuses on the natural side of things. Enjoy!

8-9-16 Update 6.0
Rift 6.0 features brand new FX around the map to make the forerunner structures fell more alive. Enjoy!
9-18-16 Update 7.0 FINAL
RIFT 7.0 features the final major update to the map. This update brings new combat to the center building with a brand new lower room that connects to the lower part of the building then to the natural path with the over shield. Also the over shield has been raised on a rock so you must now jump to gain access to it, kinda like a risk for the reward type scenario. The water in the pounds has been updated as well. The center building has been improved for more room for combat along with new openings in the ceiling to allow natural light to come through. Again, this is the final update for major things not the small things like spawns or weapon issues.
