As the titles says the map has now undergone its final stages of transformation and polishing up. That being said Reverence will be majorly Updated Again after Memories of reach ( MoR ) launches. We will be doing a huge texture Overhaul for the map to even better sell the aesthetics. This also means adding Dead covenant and possible Fx's to the map.
Recent map Updates!
Sandbox changes:
- Changed the spawn location of the plasma rifle to spawn at top mid.
- Reduced ready ammunition in all covenant weaponry found on the map.
Map dev changes:
-Added bright blue light to magnum spawn room to better highlight the pathway choice for survivors to take.
- Added improved kill boundaries to the Cliffside's of the map to allow spartans to walk alongside the cliffs but not camp instead of just dying instantly.
- Completely changed and re-shaped the entire back ramp area. Changed the layout to make it more apparent that you can access the higher zone from the crashed covenant pieces ( which have now been replaced for a rock path ). Also there is now a sight blocker for the humans to make camping their a lot more difficult than it was previously.
- Spawn points have been changed around drastically, initial spawns have remained the same.
- Lastly The map has had some polishing up done to it, walls are now correctly un-lightbaked and flood areas have been colour corrected with ambient orange lighting. Some fx in areas have been removed because they have been known to reduce frame rate from 55-60 to around 45.
The map now has only 60% lightmap used up so it is extremely efficient.
