Map Description

  1. BLOODxcrazer
    Welcome to Redlight Greenlight! This is not your traditional boring red light green light game that you kids play at recess. This version includes much more death.

    Each team will be attempting to slowly move their flag to the other team's side of the streets. Besides the other team who has the same goal, this is made increasingly difficult when the traffic lights turn red every couple seconds, and tons of warthogs come speedig through. Sidewalks are restricted by timed kill boundaries, so use them wisely to avoid the traffic. All players have swords and the flag carrier has a weak pistol but can take a few hits. This minigame is very simple but was hilarious to see players being splattered constantly.

    I haven't playtested this much so I am looking for any suggestions to improve the gamemode or even a different gametype would be appreciated!

    You can see my post below, but basically this map is extremely creative and fun. I would give 6 stars, but I think the map, aside from the cars, is just a little too plain. Fantastic idea though, and beautiful execution!

    It's a cool concept but it could use some work.

    The problem my lobby ran into is that right now, it's too hard to capture the flag. No one could score and I had to end the game early because people were starting to quit.

    It might have something to do with the carrier traits. You could make him faster or give him more health. Or both. You could also experiment with the flag itself. Maybe move it up farther or disable flag at home.

    Hope you can improve this one. It has potential.

    Thank you for the feedback! I have noticed the difficulty too and I personally scored a few times by constantly dropping and grabbing the flag. This is a risky move however, as when u dont have the flag u die in one hit. I fear that if i make the flag carrier quicker people will use the dropping trick still and move even faster. I'll just have to play around with the gametype until I find a sweet spot. Also flag at home scoring is off, you dont need your flag at home to score.

    This idea is awesome! I wanted to make a slayer map back in the days of Halo Reach where a kill ball would travel through the middle of the map on occasion and kill everyone, kind of like that old James Bond map where the missile moved on that track in the basement.

    You've basically completely upstaged me with a well thought out, beautiful, flavorful, and kind of hilarious way of creating this element.

    I would love for you to take this idea and make a slightly more traditional slayer or strongholds map out of it!

    I'm revisiting this map to improve/add gametypes. Unfortunately strongholds is not working due to a strange glitch I've never seen before. I would love to have a king of the hill variant but some strange forces are preventing that from happening. Expect some kind of assault variant/grifball functionality. For now enjoy getting splattered in castle wars style stale mates!
