Welcome to REACTOR.

A testing and manufacturing facility is built in a secret location on an icy planet after a new type of energy substance (glowing green stuff) is discovered by the Spartans.

The substance is capable of producing incredible amount of energy similar to that of nuclear fusion. There is an abundance of it on the planet and is secretly being mined/tested/produced by the UNSC.

Systems have gone corrupt at this particular facility and it had to be evacuated until further notice. A suspected virus has taken over the control room, and fears of an overloaded reactor system looms.

STRUCTURE:
This Facility is semi-symmetrical. Each side has a similar layout but provide different functions.

One side pumps and houses the energy substance and forces it into the center reactor through large pipes. (red side)

The opposite side collects and treats cold water from the surrounding ice and pumps that into the reactor to keep it from overheating. (Blue Side)

There is a center control room, with testing “pools” on each side upon entering in from the top.

In the center is the reactor core with an “energy moat” below it. This moat contains the excess substance that gets re-filtered and recycled back into the core.


In the back, on the red side, is the haz-mat room.

The opposite side (blue side) contains the “cold storage” room. This room is dedicated to storing large containers of energy that will be shipped out. Along with the coolant testing pool.
