Alright Spartans, like with any Raid, there are a few hoops you'll need to hop through in order to beat it. Hopefully, this post will help you through the Dust Palace.
Phase 1 (Tethering Ritual)
How it works:
This one is very simple. Once the round begins a ~50sec timer will ensue. There are three, large Totems that will indicate the Phases progression. In even intervals, each totem will be lit up with a bright blue flame. Once all three are ignited, the large plate in the center will slide away and the Spartans will be able to enter the Dust Palace.
Tips: Human
Teamwork will be key throughout the entirety of the Raid. Phase 1 has a focus on this element. It is in the humans best interest to form a circle on top of the large plate. This way all angles are covered.
Tips: Infected
Here is where the Alphas ground pound comes into play. One Alpha should use their ground pound to scatter the Spartans, and the other should swoop in to clean up.
Phase 2 (Dust Lords Challenge)
How it works:
The Spartans will descend into the Dust Palace and will need to travel a short distance before coming upon a large, curved room, with six pillars and a bright blue flame. The Spartans will need to survive for ~60sec, after which, a teleporter will become available to end the phase. Three indicator lights are present in front of the TP and will evenly indicate progression.
Tips: Human
Like before, be sure to group up. The infected have new option of attack that place them much closer to you. Cover each others blindspots and be ready to teleport when the time comes
Tips: Infected
In the early stages of the phase, the Spartans are very exposed. Try to pick off as many as possible before they reach the final room. Once they are there, it'll be much harder to reach them.
Phase 3 (Imprisoned)
How it works:
Be Aware! This phase is not on a timer! In order to progress, the Spartans must activate a switch and defend a gate that is slowly falling. The play space is limited to a long hallway, in which the zombies drop down from above.
Tips: Human
Move the switch quickly. The longer you wait in this phase, the more at risk you are. Be wary of the glowing green spaces above. The Infected can travel through these.
Tips: Infected
You have the element of surprise in this phase. Coordinate your attacks to distract and overwhelm the Spartans.
Phase 4 (Sewer Escape)
How it works:
The humans will drop down into the sewers, and activate a safety gate to continue. After which they will traverse the sewers, enter a power conduit and exit the phase.
Tips: Human
Don't stop moving
Tips: Infected
Pressure the Spartans into breaking ranks break leaving someone behind
Phase 5 (The Summoning Chamber)
How it works:
The Spartans will descend into the the chamber and will be dropped onto a circular platform. They will have access to a Void's Tear, Arclight, Loathsome Thing and a Gauss Cannon. They will attempt to defend this room for the remainder of the round.
Tips: Human
Your best bet is to grab one of the Special weapons and retreat to the center platform, putting as much distance between you and the infected as possible.
Tips: Infected
Weave in and out of cover in order to get the jump on the Spartans.
