This is my submission for the Forgehub 1v1 competition. I've been working on this on and off for a few weeks now. It's hard for me to do marathon Forge sessions. In any case, to get an idea of the map, I'd highly recommend watching me run through the map at this link:

Sorry about not having a convenient youtube video. My internet today (of all days) has been acting horribly, so I am happy I got this far. The images of the map above are taken directly from the video, as my xbox screenshot function doesn't work.
RIGHT. Onto the map. I attempted to make an interesting geometrical piece to begin with, which is the inner ring and the four ramps leading off it. This was the initial part of the map, and it pretty much evolved from there. I tried to go the aesthetic route as well as having an abnormal flow. No idea if I nailed either of those things. There is a mixture of some long and short sightlines, and there is one power weapon, the sniper, and a powerup, speed boost. These will be the driving force for engagements throughout the game. Both players spawn equidistant from both power items, and movement towards them can be so varied that initial engagements should remain fresh (though I admit to not having done much testing for various reasons).
Weapons
Sniper - No extra clips - 60 sec
Carbine - Default extra clips - 30 sec
Silenced SMG - No extra clips - 60 sec
2 x Plasma Rifle - n/a - 30 sec
2 x Plasma Grenade - n/a - 15 sec
Powerups
Speed Boost - 60 sec
