Map Description

  1. AngelitoCO
    Power Plant (Zanzibar Remix)

    My own REMIX of Halo 2 Zanzibar , Halo 3 Last resort, and my mind. You can play halo 5 comfortably.

    Added/Fixed:
    • supressor where the rocket bullets were on the hill sorrounded by 4 stones
    • hydra below the tower where the sniper spawns
    • Added 2 DMR
    • Thanks to barrels and pivots the wheels spins smoothly
    • now you have to shot the exploding core to cross to access the bridge and get to the wheel
    Soon/Fix:
    • make the map look like Zanzibar from Halo 2
    I build this map because a friend told me to build it, but I didn't knew that there was already one good remake of the map called Turbine from xXBarthXx and I recommend it. Since Turbine looks a little bit more to Last Resort from H3 I'm going to try and make this one look more like Zanzibar from H2

    Look great! Maybe you should add some textures to those blocks. Maybe a rocky texture, so it looks more as a remembrance of H2 :p

    I would look at the middle under the wheel, some heavy z fighting there.

    What you mean by heavy z? I made some changes, map will look different added some textures and blocks.. but i dont understand what do you mean by heavy Z

    Played a game of CTF on this map over the weekend. Needs some work but it's looking pretty darn good.

    1. Initial Spawns put us in each others bases. Oh boy did we get a good laugh trying to pick up our own flag. :)

    2. Something in the center wheel area is causing framerate issues. Anytime you we had the center wheel area in view we would lag alot. Made for sniping from the bridge near impossible.

    3. Too many explosives. Those also cause some framterate issues when every body was blowing them up.

    But so far so good. Has a lot of good going for it. Wish though the wheel would spin. :(

    I'm sorry if you experienced issues.. thruth is that I haven't been able to test it right (I have only played snipers) because I dont have much friend that like big maps.. i will try to fix spawns, framerate issues.. explosives are exactly located as they were in halo 2 but i will try to eliminate some of them

    The wheel... spinning in halo 5 it's kind of buggy and i tried it to make it spin and worked.. except it was doing some kind of up and down movement and I didn't like it, so I decided to make the wheel broken

    Now that I have more experience with forge and with the new updates, I'll be adding some changes to the map and fixing some things.. also i figured out why the wheel wasn't spinning right.. but to fix it i have to rotate the entire map 5° degrees and I'm feeling lazy about it.

    I recommend xXBarthXx Turbine map if you're looking for a good remake, more detailed and finished one.
