It has been a whole year since Generai Pug and I have created Poltergeist 3, it was my first map we both forged together and for the time period it was created, it was great. Looking back now not only was there far less to work with pieces wise, but the map itself was incredibly goofy looking and very over-scaled. We wanted to make a map far better looking and just as fun as he previous 3 maps. Despite this map having as many variations as stigma does at this point, we like to make sure each one plays completely different than the last.
Like other Poltergeist games, some furniture has been exaggerated so you can interact and hide in it, thanks to chromas we were able to achieve furniture that can accommodate a person, but not look absurdly over scaled in the process.You can hide in absurd areas like a washing machine, the oven, under beds, and even a bathtub. We tried our very best to cram as much detail into this house as we possibly could but sadly due to the limitations of Halo 5 some small intricate details like wall trim had to be scraped for hiding spots, maybe come Halo 6 we can make the house we have always wanted to.

House-The house in Poltergiest IV is a 3 story house with 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, an attic, and a flooded basement. It is filled to the brim with hiding spots that you can use to your advantage. A good amount of items and some furniture is on normal physics as well so in areas like the basement you can create your own hiding spot or wall off an area temporarily. The house also contains magic furniture that can teleport you, it has a cool down of 20 seconds so use it wisely.
Poltergiest- You are a slow, invincible spirit that hunts down the humans and forces them to move around the house if their position is given away, you always have an FX following you that lets people know you are nearby and gives you a ghostly look, you also have a different filter so you can see in the dark.
Humans-You have 2 options, to kill as many minions as possible and rack up points, or to hide and get the round survival bonus.
Minions- Your job is to locate humans and try to kill them, you are very weak so it takes 3 slashes to kill a human, but keep in mind you can use the darkness to your advantage. You can see far better than them in the house.
