A parking garage is cool idea for a paintball map, but it could use some work. The map I think would become easily disorienting without any different visual cues. Use the different grime / texture overlays to create depth in the map. Use a little color on the outer walls to help differentiate from the supports and beams of the map. Select one light, goto options select all and move them inbetween the support beams on the ceiling for a nicer lighting effect. Moving the lights will help a ton to see the difference beween the ceiling and support beams. The ground should be a darker gray with concrete texture and minimum grime Perhaps make the outer walls lighter and use a separate block in the center of the outer walls to add a stripe of color. Decal stripes on the ground to make parking lines would go a long way to making it more believable also. A really grimy color on the support beams along the ceiling would help a ton also. You could also possibly use one of the breakable walls meshed with the ground to create cracks in the pavement. He also said that the intro camera's should be the overhead layout of the map. You could copy the whole floor, poles and cars and place them outside the map in a separate area (best would be above your current garage and then put the loadout camera over that to show the layout. You want to reference a few parking garages to get a more realistic look to it. This one for example has color on the support columns so they stand out.
Thank you. I was working last minute on it because my original map was corrupted. I will make the changes you have suggested, but I don't think I'm allowed to update the map until after the contest.

I loaded the map and adjusted a few things, but I wanted to say I really enjoyed the the decal parking space job you did and the exterior ramps go a very long way to making it feel more like an environment. This is what I was talking about by making it a bit more worn out. (perma link - on my other account limystatue102 for the bookmarked map) http://xboxdvr.com/gamer/LimyStatue102/screenshot/6434259#
I really enjoyed playing paintball on this map. The aesthetics are realistic and gives the players an atmospheric feel. While playing, I kept looking at stuff like the impressive decal art and architecture a lot XD
