The map Overlord has been heavily inspired by he map 'Overlord' from the much hated game Call of Duty: Ghosts. This map however truly looks fantastic in Halo 5, and provides incredibly unique and diverse gameplay that you will not find anywhere else.
This map takes full advantage of the forge limitations and boundaries (literally) because all 1600 objects were used and the light map peaked over 300% at one point in the map making process. However, with hours of tweaking and refining, the lighting was lowered back down to 97%.

This map is great for all variants of Slayer, Infection, Strongholds, and most custom game modes. It best supports gameplay of 3v3, 4v4, 5v5, and 6v6, but since the map is so large, any less is not recommended. The map is also as balanced as I could make it while still trying to keep the gameplay asymmetric and fresh.

This map is very large and very very detailed and has been incredibly difficult to keep the budget limits at or below 100% in each category!
When playing this map you will notice frame rate drops in some locations! I am fully aware of the problem and have no way of fixing this issue! If you can deal with the frame rate drops, you will not be disappointed in this map!
