1. New Sangheili pieces, strongholds and a feature video!

    Pat Sounds
Before we get into the update, big thanks to Vetoed for this feature video!

You can see all the new aesthetic changes in the video much better than any screenshots could. He's running it with grenade launcher starts, which is plenty of fun on this map.

Many thanks as well to the Gravemind Community, who did a feature on a version of the map before this update:

It's been a little while since I've updated this map, but as everyone knows there were several Sangheili pieces released recently, some of which I was already trying to emulate anyways. So this one was due for a slight refresh. I've also been tinkering with a few elements over the past month, and have decided to keep a couple changes. Here's what's new:

    - Added new Sangheili statues and banners, some of which were the exact pieces I was trying to emulate in the first place. See my post in the thread above. LOL.

    - I removed the elite bodies and replaced them with legit elite statues from the Sangheilie pack. In addition, I moved them down so they don't block sight lines anymore.

    - I swapped the sword for active camo. The lingering complaint about the original setup was that the sword felt OP. Camo gives the map a power-up, which it was lacking, and tilts the scales less severely than the sword.

    - Another lingering complaint was the limited number of spawns on the level. Eggnoggg's original layout utilized a minimal number of spawns and was catered to 2v2, but over time it's become apparent to me that most people prefer to play this map as a 4v4. I've made adjustments to the map to make it work better for the higher count, and the biggest adjustment is obviously the number of spawns. There are now A LOT more spawns on the level than before.

    - I set up the map for Strongholds in addition to Slayer. The stronghold locations are in their infancy so they may be subject to change.

    - Added even more destructible panels, fences and statues to make the map more interactive.

That's it for this update. In the near future, I'll be working on bringing this map up to 343's standards with the intention of submitting it to matchmaking. That will bring with it all of the game modes, and a variety of other bits of fine tuning. If you're one of the people that have been playing the map, many thanks for supporting me!
