2v2 Slayer

Map Description

  1. ChrisO
    A follow up to my map Worship, this is a new (smaller) Japanese themed map built for 2v2 slayer.

    I have tested this with some friends. It seemed to run smoothly and we had a lot of fun playing on it. I may still tweak spawning, kill boundaries, and the blocks used on the 2nd floor.

    The map is symmetrical but the red side is a little more open while the blue side has a small cave leading up to one side.

    There are small wooden bridges near the red and blue initial spawns with power ups, (camo on blue side, over-shield on red side). Gamertag: motherpuncher33

    Nice aesthetic. I think you should add some weapons like SMGs or Plasma Pistol. The map doesn't look really small. I'm convinced that it could work for 4 v 4 CTF, Slayer or Territory.

    I don't know how much budget you still have, but I find it unfortunate to see a really big house in the center of the map with just a corridor inside. Maybe you could create something, a dojo, with some covers and windows to create new lines of view on the outside around the building.

    Nice job anyway ! It's good to see something with different aesthetic !

    Thanks for the feed back @Black Racher

    I actually did have dojos made on the top floor but I ran out of budget and made the decision to get rid of them. Noted on the weapons, I was thinking the same thing.

    Also when testing the map, it did seem smaller than it looks. I even played some 1 v 1 matches and we ran into each other a lot and had some good battles. I think I may add some strong holds though.

    @Zach Sewell Yeah sure! please do! Could you send me the link when you post it?

    Also I just made a couple updates to the map. I redid the upstairs flooring, and added some more weapons around the map. I changed the bottom mid weapon pad to a beam rifle.
