VERSION 2.1 UPDATE
Hello fellow forgers and Halo players!
Over the past couple of weeks I have been making some tweaks to Turbine to make it a better and more enjoyable experience. Below is a list off updates that I have made to the map:
- Replaced Regular SMG's with Projectile SMG's - Give's it more of a classic feel
- Removed some extra unneeded weapons from the map
- Replaced all terrain with Tidal pieces- Previously, the map was made up of Alpine pieces for the grass and Asteroid pieces for the beach. Well, I finally decided to stop being lazy and replaced them all with Tidal pieces. It looks much better now and the beach blends into the grass like in the original maps
- Replaced the pallets holding up the Window covers with Invisible Scripted Targets- now the pallets don't look like they are out of place
- Added a destroyable wall to the left side of the main base- I felt this would make the map more unique and add a little more instead of there just being a giant hole in the wall
- Fixed up some textures on objects
- Reduced the MATTE/METALLIC level on objects making up the seawall and base- This seemed to reduce the framerate issues a little bit. I'll continue to make changes to reduce framerate

I think that's it for this update. Next will be getting the wheel to turn again (I know, I know, it's been awhile...). I have several people helping me out with this. Hopefully we can get it working on my map soon!
