    Iniquity is a relatively small, but very dense puzzle map.
    With a neat variety of obstacles to overcome, and sexy aesthetics..
    ..I'm sure you'll love it.

    My aim with this map..
    ..was to create believable puzzles in a believable environment. I set out to forge the aesthetics with a steampunk-medieval fusion, with the obscene, entirely unnecessary and bulging copper pipes blending into the stone walls and wooden frames, creating the creepy atmosphere of a ghastly laboratory filled with equipment that probably isn't legal.

    This gave me a huge amount of freedom for the design of the puzzles, allowing me to implement quirky, magical and mechanical obstacles to overcome, all the while remaining believable in the setting.

    Map Information
    Designed to be played solo, but can be played by up to 5 people. (I suggest no more than 3)

    If you play with more than one person, do not use other players as a means to reach a high ledge.
    The gametype is recommended, but if you do use your own:
    I suggest using a slayer variant, and you must disable thruster pack and ground pound.

    Difficulty?
    Meh, some parts are easy, some parts are more complicated.
    Same goes with the parkour, some jumps are very tricky indeed.
    But as I said, it's a small puzzle map.

    Average times I've seen so far are 30-45mins solo, 15-30mins for parties.

    so we played through and had a couple issues. The switch on the pillar ends up floating in mid air after pushing it.

    Second, in the last room we cant jump off of those lamps like you do in the video.

    otherwise, very cool looking map!

    That pillar bug is strange, never occurred to me when I tested it, and testing it as I type this didn't occur again... I'll see what I can figure out though.

    Heh, they are very difficult jumps, must admit... If enough people complain about them I guess I'll have to make them a tad easier..

    haha sorry about the spoiler! didnt think about it, plus I dont know how to make that little spoiler button thing that hides content.
    Yeah We tried jumping on those lights for about 30 minutes and couldnt do it. We ended up doing a two man double jump to get up there.

    Mmhm I saw, I got hold of your replay on your recent games, you did very well :)

    Thank you for the feedback, I've made some hotfixes which hopefully make that last bit a tad more logical.

    There's no difference to the puzzles, mostly the update fixed some bugs and improved some aesthetics :)

    Hey, I played on your map last night.
    Your aesthetics are really good, inspired, and eerie at times. The "evil castle" feeling I got was really interesting and exciting. However, for some of the buttons and things, they really weren't clear, and I had to crouch around some of them in order for them to work. This can easily be remedied with invisible buttons.
    Other than that, can't wait for pt. 2!

    Yeah I knew the buttons aren't perfect, but to my knowledge invisible buttons can't be despawned? Maybe I'm wrong, but I wanted the interaction message to disappear with the item, add to the realism.

    I absolutely loved this map, me and a couple of my friends played it and had a blast. I would love to see a sequel to this as I love puzzle maps.
