The center room looks great! It has a scaley floor, like a dragon. Also, the description needs power weapons listed with spawn times and ammo counts (it is for the reader's convenience in analyzing the map). But from what is shown -through the pictures and the video - several things are concerning. Are there only grenades and active camo? The combat is going to become stale in minutes. Also, the map is one large, open interior; it is reminiscent of Foundation, where people spawn in dead-end rooms. This is frustrating because it makes predicting spawns a simpler task (as opposed to the layout of a map like Lockout with isolated rooms). And how is active camo useful in taking the top portion? The person who wins the first engagement is going to sit above with a supply of grenades, waiting for someone to come through the teleporter (or grab the active camo). It is possible to frag a person sitting there, but is the effort of avoiding BR shots to the dome worth the effort? As a map, Inimeg needs more rooms, more weapons, more encounters (especially for eight players). Though, it is not a bad beginning.
For Sure, will be working more on this map. I was just trying to quickly make something for the contest so 8 players might be too crazy. Probably will be adding a second level/floor around the ring looking into ring that you can get to from both sides of Blue Team spawn room and Red Team spawn room.
