"Data suggests the Dust Palace isn't one combined structure. Parts of it seem to fade in and out of reality"
Hollow is a 4v4 core map that expands on the theme and setting presented in my minigame, Raid: The Dust Palace.
The map is composed of two towering, symmetrical structures separated by a narrow chasm. While both sides can be traversed with a basic jump there are many options for play. With a plethora of clamber routes, one-way teleporters and several vertical tiers, players will be met with may options for play and movement.
In addition, the map breaks away from the traditional power weapon standard, as it features a blended REQ weapon. There is a Railgun that when fully charged, fires the black hole from the Void's Tear. The charge can be held forever but does not lock on.

Lore: The Dust Palace, in many ways, is a mystery to us. We had so little relevant data to plan our attack with, that much of the planning was done based solely on assumption. Recent data suggests that much of the Dust Palace seems to just float in the Void, disjointed and scattered. Since the Null have no need for physical means of travel, the idea of connecting all of it must not have crossed their minds.
It seems they just built what they saw fit, where they saw fit. This structure contains a summoning alter similar to the one we saw in our initial attack.
