Classic remake of the beloved Halo 3 game, Ghostbusters.
Changes since Halo 3:
-Ghosts have the ability to use sprint, due to Halo 5's nature of making active camo fade when under high movement levels.
-Decreased round timer from 8 minutes to 4 minutes to improve gameplay progression.
-Reduced number of rounds from 8 to 4 to improve gameplay progression.
-Enable Ghosts the ability to destroy vehicles by constant melee pressure.
-Rocket Launcher and Fuel Rod Cannon don't spawn until 90 seconds into the round
-Swapped Mauler for Boltshot
-Swapped Spiker for Suppressor
-Removal of Flamer
-Removal of Brute Shot
Ghost Traits:
1. As a Ghost the player is equipped with active camo.
2. A Plasma Pistol is the only form of a weapon the Ghost gets, although it is unable to kill.
3. Ghosts do not have access to groundpound, clamber, stabilizers, or thruster pack.
Ghostbuster Traits:
1. As a Ghostbuster the player is equipped with a Shotgun and Magnum.
2. Ghostbusters do not have access to sprint, groundpound, clamber, stabilizers, or thruster pack, but do enjoy the benefit of increased speed.
Ghost Rules:
1. As a Ghost the only way to obtain points is to assassinate the Ghostbusters, or infected players.
2. Vehicles can be operated but are unable to kill the Ghostbusters.
Ghostbuster Rules:
1. As a Ghostbuster your goal is to eliminate all the Ghosts before the allotted time of four minutes runs up.
2. Vehicles and weapons are your best friends, using your basic loadout weapons will make it extremely difficult at times to secure kills on the Ghosts.
Note* Map was previously under consideration for matchmaking purposes but recent last month changes will be reverted by the end of October, sorry for confusion.
To create the map as authentic as possible I used a Foundry creation kit map, created by RedRemedy44, to be clear, I did not create the Foundry structure, I simply put the Foundry pieces in corresponding locations and made the gametype. I tried to keep the map as accurate as possible, but there may still be a few unnoticed flaws in the map that I would be more than glad to fix if it is in the budget, but I feel the map is in the shape to be released to the general public. One small problem is that certain sections of the map suffer from a small framerate dip. The map does not include intro or outro cameras, sorry.
Currently looking for some honest map ratings!
