Hexa is a 1v1 map made with the cybran style (Game : Supreme Commander). It is a small map but there are spawns for supporting team double and FFA.
Seems really interesting, the art style is very red and cool. is there any distinguishing landmarks to help players identify where they are?
The map is symetrical and small (it is a square) so, i want to say, no. But I think there are no needs.
Are you using teams for 1v1? If so I feel like the red team might blend in a bit more than blue. Just a thought.
No, for 1v1 I have never used team. Nevertheless, i made my 1v1 with a black armor (and my ennemy too) and I never have any problem to see him. After, the map will be tested by ascend. But I won’t make a map where it is blue vs purple.
Honnestly. I’ve never made this map for a RedvBlue gameplay. It was just to make such structures. But, after using it, I’ve never felt any problems on the visualisation of my ennemy. But it still my point of view.
