This is an alternate version of Helix, based off of some feedback from the community.
Helix is an asymmetrical map built to contain up to eight players with a focus on Slayer and Oddball. The vertical layout is intended to promote movement and create flowing gameplay and an overall fun experience.
Listed below are some of the changes I've made since posting the original iteration.
GT :: Milge
- Overall aesthetic updates :: Added fog to help break away from the default canvas. Fixed several z-fighting issues. Added some details to help with consistency. Changed map filter. Changed pipe color.
- Lighting :: Added and adjusted lighting in several areas to help with map readability.
- Layout :: Thanks to @CertifiedChamp for feedback on this. Adjusted the damage boost platform; changed it from a free-floating pillar to one that connects the shelf to the grenade launcher (formerly the fuel rod). Adjusted the bottom balcony to reduce dead space.
- Weapons :: Replaced covey power weapons with UNSC ones, as they seemed out of place. Added more grenades.
- Oddball :: Changed oddball spawn locations.
