Map Description

    Introducing Havoc.
This awe inspiring map goes off the play of the classic 4 base style of map. Keeping it simple with Red, Blue, Yellow, and Green base. Having the 4 bases unique to their own design allowing the player to use their ability to make the most of the position. We specifically designed the bases to play off one another to promote the players decisions to its uplifts and the decisions for its downfalls. The Slammerss and I took it personal when we wanted to make a clean map with brilliant shadows and beautiful highlighted features from the sun itself. The second challenge we addressed was the (more or less) bland concrete palate and how we could use that to our advantage with properly placed metallic pieces. We also included greenery (shown as vines) to add our own aesthetical touch to call our own. To build on the aesthetical aspect we have also added a beautifully smooth rock path connecting from bottom Yellow Base to top Green Base.
The map takes focus on the dynamic gameplay allowing the player to move freely with a large set of options to take including attacking, defending, and flanking the opposition. With the help of great and inspiring ideas and feedback from today's Halo competitive players we were able to create a map that meets all their required needs from weapons, designed flow, correct spawning, proper and exciting BR duels at all ranges, proper movement, and multiple options for a player designed around a 1v1.
Havoc is a new contemporary fusion of classic styles mixed with the forging "must have's" of today's styles and standards to keep it interesting and up to par.
I encourage you to take a look, take inspiration, maybe get some first hand gameplay of this map for yourself. We also included a "Promo Video" to get some gameplay and good looks at the map in real time. Enjoy.

Hey there man from the pictures I'm interested, couldn't tell anything from the video really... You should make a simple walkthrough video instead of an action montage. Secondly, You should complete a campaign mission with either scoring on or timing on. Then add the details of that in this post as well as your video. I added you to try and check out the map, but there is no way of finding it if youre not online. The campaign info lets people follow you on xbl, and access your fileshare at anytime via leaderboards.

Hopefully get to check this out soon! Welcome to FH ;)

@Given to fly. I appreciate your "two cents" given. We will take your advice about your tip with the Campaign score or time. The video was something we wanted to approach on a different idea and viewpoint. Yes we could easily done a walkthrough, but we did not want that, we simply wanted to show of the map in a different manner and allow the viewer to fill in the holes with his/her thoughts about the map or simply download the map itself for a furthur look. The video again, was just highlights of the map in general with with pans and gameplay here and there for hype reasons. It was different and we were unclear was it going to be something viewers were going to latch onto or not. Everyone has their own opinion their entitled to.
    Thanks again for your feedback.

It's kind of difficult to "download the map itself for a furthur look" if you're not online and we can't find you on the leaderboards. And your reply came off as petty and condecending. This looks like a really cool map, and it'd be a shame for it to go unnoticed because *people cannot download it*. Whether or not you agree with Given about the walkthrough, he's right about needing leaderboard information.

Roflmao. You can't download the map without that info. Not so much something you should have to 'consider'.
That being said, at the very least the map looks well forged, reminds me a lot of Guardian. But.... a sniper, a brute shot, a camo, two silenced SMGs, and an AR for a 1v1? Suppose I'd have to try it out before I judge. Good work.

Yes, the leaderboard info will be added. Its just unfortunate that this must be added to simply download a map. I have been forging on all Halo's and this is just disappoinment from being able to download from a click of a button to techinical work. Im glad that you all found a solution for the time being. Also in future "forge entry competitions" a small tip of leaving a leaderboard score would come in handy in the forum page. :)
