Map Description

  1. Sierra I07
    "The Liang-Dortmund Corporation is not responsible for any deaths caused by xenomorphic lifeforms."

    Hadley's Hope is an Infection map based around the fictional colony featured in the 1986 movie "Aliens". This map has gone through 5 playtesting sessions, the 5th having formed the most current version of the map (which displays differences between the video and the imagery associated).

    After a hard landing, you and your Spartan fireteam have made it to the distress beacon launched by LDC personnel. The environment is known for its hostility; and so is the local xenomorph population.

    Survivors should head for Blue Base. Infected should use the vents. Check those corners.

    I think a version of this should be in matchmaking. The Halo franchise has several influences from this movie(Pelican, Sergeant, Marines armor, Cryo pods, a handful of dialogue, etc.) It would be neat to have some sort of contribution past legality of course.

    That would be pretty awesome! While some parts of the map are slightly rough, it's very hard to translate a few pieces of concept art and screens from the movie into a map editor. Ultimately we brought over as much as possible that would be viable for gamplay, while some parts had to be scrapped (such as having multiple rooms on both levels - just not possible). It still plays very fun, and the odds of Survivors/Infected winning is almost always 50/50!
