    Hey guys! This is a remake that I did a while back, but I've gone and updated pretty much every part of the map to make it more faithful to the original.

    Guardian is without question one of the most popular Halo 3 maps, and I hope I did it justice here in Halo 5. The map is crazy fun to play with classic modes and even crazier with standard slayer as the increased mobility makes for some hectic gameplay.

    Visually I tried to match the atmosphere of the original as closely as I could. That means instead of the bright, sunny colors of the older versions of the remake, I opted to cover the entire map in shadow. To do this I created a ceiling of green chroma screen to block off all sunlight from reaching the map, making the map more closely match the dark look of the original Guardian.

    I also went through and updated all of the rocks to the Tidal textures, making them look more like the trees that covered Guardian. There is also a lot of flora and fauna around the map to give the same look that the original had with all of the overgrowth around the map.

    PLEASE 343i, if you are seeing this, put this map in matchmaking! I don't care if you ever put any map I've done/helped make in matchmaking, just hear this one request. Don't deny the community this nostalgic experience of fighting amidst the lush and mysterious jungle of this Guardian remake. I can hear the classic BR right now, in fact...wait....what...is...that....*BLAM* it's the gravity hammer omgwt#@$ run!

    can someone convince 343 to create a remake contest of all the best remakes available from previous halos so the community can vote.. or here at ForgeHub i have some remakes that i will like to enlist.

    Looks really good, however from an aesthetic POV I'd suggest removing the vine pieces. They're lighting is just unfortunately very broken, making them stand out like the sun in this generally darker map.

    I checked out your update, very smoothe, much better. I absolutely look forward to this being in the upcoming h3 remakes playlist.
