Gridlock.
Memories were and will continue to be made on this map, whether in Gears of War or now in Halo 5...
This is the final full update to Gridlock.
I can officially say this map is complete.
Map changes:
Additional trash decals have been placed around to give a better look to a barren ground.
The center dock building has been completely redone!
With the additional amount of pieces, I made the sniper spawn building as close to the GoW version as possible. It really does look like it now.
A few extra windows were placed on buildings outside the map and a whole new extension to one to bring immersion a little more closer.
And on building near Blue Spawn has been built up more.
It much closer resembles the skyscraper building there in GoW.
Weapon changes:
The DMRs located on the decks have been changed from standard to the Recon variant to more closely mimic the Hammerburst.
Additional changes:
More respawn points have been placed around the map for non-Breakout gametypes to prevent spawn camping.
From here on out, the map will no longer receive any major updates. (unless something becomes completely broken... which let's hope not.)
If the map needs balancing updates, those will still come.
But thank you all for the downloads and features everywhere.
At just over 2000 bookmarks (my second most bookmarked map at the writing of this), this map has been VERY well received!
I hope you all continue to enjoy the map!!!
(also, be on the lookout for a Gridlock 2.0 in the near future. It will be an entirely separate map. Gridlock will soon be reclaimed by nature.)
