Gorge

1v1 Slayer

Map Description

GAMERTAG: GreasyBananaxXx COMPLETED CAIRO STATION ON NORMAL
This perfectly symmetrical 1v1 map set in the bottom of a gorge holds multiple ways to gain the upper hand on your opponent. Jump from various platforms to achieve the height advantage and use the many skill jumps spread around the map to surprise your enemy from both above and below. Man-cannons, teleporters and skill jumps provide rapid traversal around “Gorge”.

I like the style of this map. Very clean forging.

Gorge has the potential to be a really great map. It's just not quite there yet.
    Main issues:
    - The teleporter is really awkward, both sender and receiver. To be honest, I'm not sure the map even needs a teleporter. If you want to keep it, I suggest lowering the sender node to ground level so that players can walk into it rather than having to jump. The Receiver node was pretty disorienting. Reposition it so that players don't exit with a wall right in their face.
    - Spawning was not great. After only a couple of games, it became pretty easy to predict and exploit the respawns. It would probably be better if there were more respawn points in the lower elevations, and fewer respawns on the more elevated sections around the exterior of the map.

Overall, this is a really fun map to play on. There are a lot of movement options. I particularly like the center of the map. I think you should keep fine tuning this. I'm eager to see how it plays once it reaches its full potential.

Thanks for the feedback, appreciate it! Honestly, I threw in the teleporter last-minute as an attempt of adding another movement option. It turned out to be bad decision...
