DL the new/final Version 1.4 - I kept Version 1.3 file for 2v2 contest judging, but this is truly the best version of the map now.
Lots of changes!
- Updated the sightlines at top center catwalk by changing the railings to a solid barrier/railing combo which allows for better cross-map and close-quarter combat.
- Basement has new solid barriers around 80% of the pathway because of play testers falling during a little too frequently.
- Basement lights have been changed to allow for better target acquisition when in basement. Also the drop down hatch has a flashing lit-up arrow now.
- Finessed all lighting - dropped the brightness and fall-off ratio while raising the length of the lights allows for a more natural feeling space.
- Camouflage has changed to Overshield at 180s static respawn on a weapon pad.
- More Readability, finessed texture for more variety between areas.
- Now allow all game-types including Slayer, Ball, Strongholds, Assault, CTF, Breakout with the proper spawns zones for CTF/Assault.
- Sound FX added for atmosphere, I used forerunner textures and steam to have the feeling of an ancient water treatment plant.
This has been passion project, I have put countless hours into testing and touching up every piece to be the most competitive space I can create.
This has an iterative process and I THINK this is the final version of the map. You never know...
