Fever Pitch

I really enjoyed putting this map together. What started as an undergound mine concept for infection that @TickleMeBuddha and I began, I fell in love with the theme, and as he way away for that weekend, began construction on this map in earnest.
I've always stuck to a very oldschool perspective when it comes to Halo map design, and frequently found my maps overscaled and the layouts sub par - on this occasion I really wanted to push the whole "Main Atrium" concept and make the theme as believable as possible and not repeat those mistakes. I've been very receptive to feedback from all players who've helped me test, fixing things that I probably would have never considered (I'm really glad I listened!)
There's a lot of little touches, like heat distortion from jet engine effects hidden under the lava, the lava actually pushing bodies along in the direction of flow (Thanks @Max Extra for the idea). The heat and atmosphere I've designed here I feel is pretty effective, and I'm really pleased with how far I've pushed it.
Verticality is another big theme here, with players encouraged to think about their positioning in different ways than the average Halo 5 map might make them, so it can be a little punishing for new players.
The last big change was a complete lighting overhaul, which was really effective - big thanks to @WyvernZu for that one!
While I'm pushing the map forward to general release as version 1.0, I'm still actively listening to feedback on weapon placement and spawns, although I feel the geometry is pretty much there, but you never know!
The map plays best with Strongholds. Slayer and FFA. Oddball is good fun too - really hope you enjoy it, and thanks for reading!
Further feedback has led to new changes - specifically making the map less segmented and a litte more open.
Blue spawn has been opened up to allow eyes on enemy movement and a greater sense of place an delayed orientation.
A bridge has been added to improve player movement. Plasma pistol spawn moved from bottom mid to bridge wing.
A ledge has also been added to top nest wood platform allowing players to cross both ways through top mid via a jump.
Red spawn has also been opened up, allowing more visibility across the map.
So Fever Pitch has seen even more changes thanks to the amazing feedback from fellow forgers.

Update 1.2
Scale - the map has been brought in closer, with a removal of the highest level, and the whole map has been brought in closer. As a result, gameplay is more focused and faster.
Additions:
Weapon layout adjusted
OS Bridge added.
Both Base lifts removed, hard routes added.
Lighting changes.
Drop added from Red Spawn to Pit.

Update 1.3
Huge changes once again to bring the map up to standard:
Scale of the map reduced by around 30% - In short it's tighter, faster and more compact.
- OS swapped for invis, new bridge for invis spawn at bottom mid.
- Pathing improved map wide - including red/blue lifts are gone, hard routes in place.
- Shotgun tunnel/Blue sneaky added
- Red cliffside/sneaky added
- Precision weapons have been oriented towards the bottom of the map, making the top harder to hold
- Sniper swapped for Beam Rifle.
