Map Description

  1. GreyMuffinBass
    I wanted to make a medieval map for the "Hub of the Dead" Infection contest :)

    There are many hiding places, and a lot of good sight lines for both teams throughout the match.

    It was a lot of fun making this map, it reminded me of several games while I was building it :p
    (Warcraft 3, Fable, Elder Scrolls, etc.)

    Thanks for trying it out if you have, I will be making more infection maps in the future.

    I really enjoyed playing on this with you! I think if you made the beach less playable (soft kills on part of it) and a weapon rebalance, it would promote more use of the inner part of the map and overall flow better. Great work, I loved the theme! You really showed off your passion in this one!

    I felt the beach was a bit overpowered from the start, I have tested it with a smaller beach and more foliage/sight blockers and nobody camps the same way there anymore. It was a very large space at first, I have learned my lesson ^^

    If you have the piece count, you should set up a core weaponset and core gametypes as an option. Even though it's designed for slayer, I really enjoy playing other gametypes on the map. I did this for Raptor Pen and some people prefer slayer and strongholds on that map instead of infection!

    Yes. I get what you mean, I was hoping to make a "Core Modes" version with all the gametype stuff and different weapon placements! This was specific for infection because I used a lot of infection requirements that lead to capped budget in this version. The sight lines will be adjusted for arena as well in the new map.
