Evac On Urban (Linear Infection)

Map Description

    Evac on Urban is a linear infection map built on the parallax canvas. Featuring many locales such as a forest, house, cave, city, mall and lab the map focuses on teamwork, expedition and survival.

    Play Guide:

    *friendly reminder, searching for weapons is very useful!


    Part 1: Survive the outskirts
    The team spawns in a rock formation with the infected spawning not to far behind, the team must move through the rock formation toward a a outskirt house, upon reaching the house the players will find that they have a gate blocking the way, players must toggle the switch and hold out for 60 seconds (You can not clamber the gate & must hold out till the gate is fully lowered to pass!)

    Upon the gate opening players will now be able to enter the house.
    After entering the house players must proceed to the second story find the switch to the back yard security door and hold out for 60 seconds...beware of infected coming from both the back yard and the front of the house.

    Part 2: Make it to the city!
    After clearing the backyard players will head into the caves (spooky right?) be careful not to get lost as the caves have a bunch of different twist and turns!

    After making a "narrow" escape from the caves players will have to hold out at another gate for 60 seconds in order to make it into the city.

    Part 3: The City Life
    Congratulations you've somehow made it to the city. Here is where it gets tricky, you have 2 path's to choose, your team can split up or stay together but it depends on your communication. Each path has pro's and cons which one will you choose?

    Right Path - Mall & Food Court (Complete with royalty free restroom of course!)

    Assuming you've chosen a path either as a team or split up, survivors will meet up at the elevator area and have to hold off infected coming from both directions until the gate is lowered (Look for the switch too the gate before its too late! Try a kiosk or store!)

    After you've held off the infected and lowered the gate survivors can choose to either get to the top of the building via elevator (which is way more secure, assuming it doesn't break down of course!) or they can walk up 16 flights of stairs with infected breathing down their neck.

    Part 4:
    The Research Lab
    I would love to pat you on the back for making it this far! But it's not over yet! You've now arrived at the research lab which has a security gate & decontamination shield! You must hold off infected until the gate clears after 60 seconds and then must hold off until the Decontamination shield has cleared for 60 seconds (remember when I said searching for weapons would be useful? Well you'll be thanking me now!)

    You've made it to the lab! This is a good staging area for a hold out, search for weapons! After searching for weapons you will have found a gate that can be opened, hold out for 60 seconds!

    You've made it past the gate but whats this? The floor has fallen in, run back to activate the emergency lift to bridge the floor between you and the Evac! (remember A,B then C your way out of it! - its a puzzle!)

    You somehow managed to bridge the floor & survive! Hold out at the pelican until the time runs out and you've won!

    Update 2.1:
    *Reduced cave routes & added green light for path direction for players who would get lost or not no where to go.

    *included new zombie spawns & reduced survivors ammunition

    *made gates anti-clamber to increase difficulty and elapsed time on holdouts
