1. Ver 2.0 Map Guide

    Ascend Hyperion
    So during the 1.0 test play on Duke After Dark, one player in particular seemed rather upset that there was no point on the map where you had a large vantage point. They said that this made the map disorientating and they felt lost. Hopefully the addition of Name Volumes helps prevent that in the future, but for those who may have/ still feel this way, I captured a top down view of the map.

    The Map is symmetrical, with three tiers to it. As it is pictured here, Red Spawn is on the right far side and blue, the left far side.

    Here are some important notes:

    While there are technically three tiers to the map, the top tier is only reachable from Nest and Garden, and while on it, players are inside a soft killzone. The path connects both to Monolith.

    Courtyard and Stage are both considered Tier 1, but Stage is lower than Courtyard

    The Windows in both Blue Wing and Red Wing have clamber options if a player wishes to avoid using the stairs.

    The Gondola is not a playable area of the map.
