Overview:
Eulogy is a core gametypes map set in a sanctuary inspired by the Delta Halo Precursor architecture. While the structure is symmetric, the placement of cover and decor is not, making both sides a little different. The map blends several different play styles, allowing any different forms of flow and combat to take place. Players can chose to stick to hard routes or they can venture past defined bounds, utilizing the extended Spartan abilities.
Author's Note:
I like to include secrets on all of my maps. Eulogy is special because it is firmly rooted in it's canvas (no floating elements etc) so I was able to do a tad more with it. Eulogy has three secrets hidden on it. The first is of course hidden skull, which is common for all my maps, but the other two I'll leave for you to find. Lore:
The Forerunners fought the Flood with everything they had. Soon, everything would be turned to nothing as they would wipe the galactic slate clean. The Sentinels were created to contain the flood. Machines with no higher purpose than to kill. One Sentinel Enforcer in particular seemed to go beyond its programming. During the evacuation of the Forerunner home world, it fought to protect countless innocents, without being told to do so. Once the battle had ended, the Forerunners took its battered remains to the Delta Halo and erected a shrine in its honor. Now it sleeps on its pedestal. Not as a machine. But as a hero.
