"Make no mistake. The Great Architects never acted without purpose. There is reason in all their holy work."
Elysium was one of my original Forge projects in Halo 5. After plying Halo 5's BTB for a few days I came to feel like most of the maps in the playlist were way too small, and even cramped in places. The combat seemed to fast by force of map flow.
In Elysium, I attempted to create a BTB map with a size and area distribution that I felt better complimented Halo 5. Of course, as Forge received update after update, the project was buried by newer things. I feel it deserved some love from me though, since it was one of original large projects. Let me know what you think! If people are interested, I'll bring it up to update!
Lore: The Halo rings have been dormant for centuries. That's plenty of time for some minor mechanical mishaps to occur. This once verdant valley has long since been converted into a cold, lifeless tundra. The micro-climate controls suffered a critical failure and the monitor of the installation saw no reason to revive what no person had seen for a millennia.
