1. Sealed Path and Weapon Change

    Extermination Wednesday saw the first test on this map.
    Outer ring was too large, travel time not up to par. Outer ring was shrunk.
    Storm Rifle was swapped for a DMR.
    Got one last quick test in before night was over, but outer ring was still causing too much of a variable for where enemies are.

    After the Thursday 13 lobby test, the 2nd slight map shrinkage was still not enough. Weapons were also not up to TTK (time-to-kill) like I had hoped for.

    I swapped Speed Boost for Damage Boost and the DMR for a Song of Peace Suppressor. Added Light Rifles per request for more precision weapons. Testing needed on light rifles usefulness.

    Forged Friday saw the most recent test. Weapon changes helped slightly, but not enough to bring about a match completion without a lot of tie games.


    Elysian Fields has received several updates during testing.
    This is the culmination of these updates:

    -White Scar is still the main power weapon. A standout weapon, but not overpowered. Is useful in situations, but low ammo count balances strength.
    -Path in the shadows has been sealed. A rock has blocked off this path creating a slight semi-circle for the outer ring. This should help decrease tie possibility due to hiding enemies.
    -With shadow path sealed, the Damage Boost has been moved to the outer ring in the light. Will monitor DB and also test a Speed Boost to see which is more effective in map cohesion.
    -Song of Peace Suppressors have replaced the SMGs that sat on the high points on each side of the map. Will monitor how this works.
    -A second path on the ramp in the light has been added to allow for easier traversal up and down from light high point.


    I will continue to monitor how these changes affect gameplay.
    Some minor weapon changes may occur between future tests to try out different setups.
