@ZombieDyer how long have people known about this? I found it a few years ago.

 

Most forgers are too inexperienced to understand how to use it or just think of it as a glitch, when it’s actually an intentional lighting restriction.

I first encountered this when I was making a sharks vs divers map. Not long after vehicle welding popped up. I put down a ton of water effect lights, I realize they disappeared at a distance but came back when zooming. I later tried to recreate it but it’s pretty damn hard to manipulate it then create a map for it.

My previous maps would have looked similar to the ones you guys made, but I ended up scraping then and coming back years later to do an ODST map.
