Devout

Devout is a core BTB map that i designed back in december and have spent several months re-iterating and fine tuning with the help of Max Extra's forged friday. It is a symmetrical U-shape with several paths, ups and downs across the map. Plays like a classic big CTF map, however is compatible with CTF, Slayer, and Strongholds.



Through the design process I started with a forerunner tower contained by an ancient sangheili temple with small bases on either side of the map. Eventually after several play throughs a two complete overhauls of the map settled on the all ancient sangheili style with the smaller forerunner relics on the map and the barrens style terrain (which was not released at the time I started the map.)
