Descendant

Hi Halo Community,
Today I bring you Descendant, an Asymmetrical BTB map! Descendant is inspired by the "Ark" Campaign mission from Halo 3 and features some familiar architecture mixed with some of my own ideas. I have many fond memories on the Ark campaign mission and I thought it would be a great opportunity to take some of those concepts and ideas and apply them to a BTB map. Also, I love building tunnels so there had to be one of those on my map.
Descendant is my idea of a Halo 5 BTB Heavies map. It features a variety of heavy vehicles and weapons. I had many playtests to find the right balance to ensure vehicle and infantry gameplay was still fair and balanced. At one point I had 4 additional vehicles on the map but found it to be very chaotic. What we have known as Heavies in the past games (lots of power weapons and heavy vehicles) just doesn't quite work in Halo 5.
Recommended Gametypes:
The map also supports CTF and Assault but are not the strongest game types as it doesn't really utilize most of the map.

Weapon Pads:
There are a total of 4 weapon pads:
1x Halo 2 Beam Rifle
1x Rail Gun
2x SPNKr Rocket Launcher
Both SPNKr Rocket Launchers are conveniently accompanied by a Mongoose at both team spawns. I wanted to integrate this as having a passenger with a rocket launcher was for me one of the most memorable gameplay aspects of the Ark campaign mission. This also serves as a substitute for a Rocket Hog if the team chooses to use it so.
There are also a variety of other weapons, see list, and of course I needed a Hunter arm or else tank cant beat everything.
