I made this back in H2A but I felt like it needed more to fit in with the new playstyle of Halo 5.
The bases are more restrictive, there used to be lines of sight leading from the back of the base out to the other side of the map which was a problem.
I changed top mid by filling in the center, opposed to being able to look and shoot down through it. There is a drop down however, which is a very exposed area of the map that drops you down to ring 1/bottom middle.
I put pathways leading back to purple from the base to give it more of a purpose, opposed to spawning in the back of the base and being forced to go in the center or around by elbow area. Basically the doorway was moved over to prevent some ring around the rosie fights as well.
All the cables you see on the map serve the purpose of preventing clamber jumps. I made sure you can still jump out through the windows if you needed to drop.
I’m still not sure if the slide boosting is a good thing or not, since there are plenty of opportunities to do so on this map. Fixing it would require me to either remove a lot of my ramps or add extra pieces to prevent it.
An interesting area of the map is rockets where you can look out from blue/red wing and crossfire while doing a jump into rocket room. You can use plasmas to nade rockets to yourself on the wings, or you can ground pound anywhere over the water and pretty much make it in the rocket room.
I still want to go over purple and make changes but first I wanted to see if you guys had any suggestions for what I could possibly do based on the pictures or anybody who downloads it.
