A burning valley dominated by a Covenant Scarab tank. Features a plethora of vehicles including two warthogs, two ghosts, four mongoose, a banshee, and a wraith. ridgelines and caves allow infantry to move on foot in relative safety or use one of two mancannons to claim the scarab, giving their team access to a banshee, and a beam rifle, as well as a commanding position in slayer, just beware of boarders! In strongholds a checkpoint is located on the ridge where sniper spawns, on top of the scarab, and inside a forerunner structure, focusing on the scarab in this game mode can lead to losing the other checkpoints and most of the power weapons. Use the vehicles to control the open areas and deny the enemy team avenues to attack, but mancannons located in certain "halfway" points can help stranded Spartans to safer positions.
