While it is appreciated how much time was spent to create a revised version of the map for Halo 5, virtually all of what made the original as loved as it is has been sacrificed in the process. Its sightlines are too long and flat while many doorways and routes remain unchanged. While some details have been preserved (the teleporters look great), most of the aesthetic liberties taken have made the map visually difficult to read, and in some parts unplayable due to frame drops. For future maps, I would like to see a greater emphasis placed on map scaling and piece usage before superfluous details.
