Vampires Gametype


An infection map set in the haunted grounds of Chateau Du Vampyr. Humans will have to try their best to survive the vampire onslaught while navigating dark corridors, blood filled basements, and dingy crypts.

Notes:
- Whether you are Human or Vampire will be determined by the scripts, so no need to worry about who is on which team when loading the game. 1 vampire will be randomly chosen for every 5 humans. (minimum 1)
- You can play this game with lower amounts of people (3-5) but the map is so large it can often turn into more of a game of hide and seek so be prepared for that!
- Currently this map only supports 1 round at a time, if you want to play subsequent rounds the party leader can simply choose restart match after the last human is killed but before the game ends.

Vampire abilities:
- Each vampire spawns with one custom equipment that sends them to the vampire nest, where they can find secret passages to every room in the house. Each passageway is marked with an item representative of the room it leads to, books for the library, tombs for the graveyard, etc. Alternatively if a vampire uses the custom equipment and wishes to just respawn, they may use the recycle doorway.

- Slight invisibility
- Elite Bloodblade
- No shields

Advice on making your own gametype:
Most of the work for the gametype is done via the scripts on the map, but these are the things you need to know if you want to make your own gametype to customize your infection experience;
- Gameplay health will be for both vampires and humans
- You can change weapons and allow grenades
- Bots cannot navigate the map but can be useful for testing
- Equipment pickup should be turned off, if it is left on there is a chance that humans may be able to pickup the zombie's custom equipment.
- Currently this map only supports 1 round at a time. Due to some current glitches Halo Infinite is experiencing with some of the item spawning on subsequent rounds.
