Map Description

  1. monkeymalek
    I've spent countless hours recreating Nuketown from Black Ops 1; this map is almost an exact copy of the original, with the exception of some household items. I recommend the gametype I made for this, "Halo of Duty" for the closest gameplay to Call of Duty. Enjoy!

    I actually really like this recreation. Most attempts you see of black ops maps (especially nuketown) are incredibly sloppy but you did a fantastic job of getting the visuals and scale accurate. I can also see how breakout, or something similar could be pretty fun on a map like this.

    Thanks, I appreciate the support! Scaling is one thing I really tried to emphasize and I'm glad it showed; I also wish I could've gone into more detail with the interior of the houses but I literally hit the cap in terms of pieces and lightmap. Also, I'm not sure if you saw, but the gamemode associated with this map is "Halo of Duty" and I designed the gamemode so it plays just like Call of Duty (no spartan abilities accept clamber, increased gravity, increased speed, and decreased damage)

    Out of all the nuke town remakes I've seen so far, this one looks promising! You have no idea how many "nuke towns" are unscaled, broken, and sloppy. When get the chance, I would like to review your map and play test it with you.

    I love the map! This is definitely the best Nuketown remake that has been released so far, both in terms of scaling and aesthetics. Great job, OP!
