Bridge Gulch was built to provide fast-paced, chaotic vertical combat with a focus on quicker engagements than the maps in matchmaking. It is small enough for 1v1 but has the weapon verity and frequency for larger 5v5 games.
The map is mainly split into two distinct levels, the cliffs and bridges above and the floor of the canyon below. Team games will see red and blue struggle to hold the upper levels whilst FFA will ensure that you are never that far from your next firefight.
The map was based off of older halo games aesthetically (like halo CE’s blood gulch and halo 2’s beaver creek) so should bring an air of nostalgia to veteran players whilst the jump distances, clamber points and sight lines all fit well into Halo 5’s sandbox.
A sniper rifle and railgun spawn on opposing bridges with a camo in the middle and a shotgun in the caves below. Other weapons on the map include:
